Shane Eddy

Shane G. Eddy is president of Pratt & Whitney, an RTX business that designs, manufactures and services aircraft engines and auxiliary power units. He has more than 35 years of experience in the aerospace industry. Prior to his current role, he served as Pratt & Whitney’s chief operations officer, where he led business activities related to product quality; environmental, health and safety; supply chain; and manufacturing, with overall responsibility for meeting Pratt & Whitney’s commitments to safety, quality, on-time delivery and cost as they related to original equipment production. Eddy joined Pratt & Whitney from GE Aviation, where he was vice president and general manager for turboshaft and turboprop engines. He also held various leadership positions at Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation and Bell Helicopter Textron. Eddy holds an MBA from Concordia University in Quebec and an undergraduate degree from Canadore College, Ontario.
