HTX is the world's first Science and Technology Agency of its kind, uniting science and engineering expertise across Home Team Departments to reshape the public safety landscape and ensure Singapore remains safe. Our focus encompasses areas like biometrics, chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and explosives threats, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, forensics, robotics, automation and unmanned systems, and surveillance. With our staff involved in research or ground operations, HTX is ideally placed to provide cutting-edge technologies that will help the Home Team fight crime, save lives, protect borders, and keep our public areas secure. HTX (Home Team Science & Technology Agency) is led by Chief Executive Officer Tsan Chan. Reporting to the CEO are Assistant Chief Executive (Programmes) Colin Tan, Assistant Chief Executive (Digital) / Assistant Chief Executive (Enterprise) Chee Wee Ang, and Assistant Chief Executive (Engineering) Cheng Wee Kiang. Within the Operations function, Deputy Chief Executive (Operations) Yeang Tat Chen oversees operational activities. Under the Information Technology umbrella, Chee Wee Ang leads the digital and enterprise portfolios, which include IT Operations Management (ITOM), Information Security, Data Management and Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning (AI/ML). In IT Operations Management, Assistant Chief Executive (Operational ICT) Lim Kia Yong manages operational ICT. The Information Security function is led by Director, Cybersecurity and Chief Information Security Officer Lip Khoon Yeo, with Agency Chief Information Security Officers Lionel Siau and Koon Teck Chua, and Director, Chief, CBRNE May Ong, PPA(P). Data Management and Analytics is headed by Chief Data Officer, Deputy Chief AI Officer, Director of Enterprise Data, Director of AI Central Kian Boon Lim. Within AI/ML, Chief Strategy Officer and Director of AI Central Denise Ang leads strategy and AI central initiatives. Under the Strategy function’s Innovation Management sub-function, Chief Cloud Engineer and Chief Innovation Officer Pan Yong Ng drives innovation. Within Engineering, Assistant Chief Executive (Engineering) Cheng Wee Kiang oversees engineering efforts.
