Accountable for defining and driving the overall business-aligned technology strategy, end-to-end digital and software development, and ensuring robust, scalable, and secure IT operations and support for the MetLife Mexico business. Responsible, as the primary business relationship executive, for overall IT portfolio decisions and financial management, agile delivery, sound risk management practices, and delivering on critical business issues. Acts as the primary IT liaison supporting Regional and Global Technology teams across all IT processes, services and functions. Drives technology investments in alignment with and in support of the country’s key business and product strategy and goals, focusing technology solutions in support of current and future business challenges. Makes final decisions across the IT value chain and is directly accountable for the execution of business and operations funded IT initiatives across all aspects of IT solutions, project and product delivery, including strategic planning, initiative management, technical design, coding, testing, implementation, operation and support. Ensures the right processes, tools, and governance are in place for effective, successful, secure, and high-quality delivery. Partners with business and technology leaders to drive transformational changes in the organization and portfolio, including workforce, location, process and technology changes, continuously ensures timely execution of modernization initiatives and undertakes efficiency and effectiveness initiatives to achieve scale, simplification and re-use targets. Also responsible for defining the strategy and driving the execution of major enterprise transformation initiatives that focus on operational excellence, exceptional user experiences, and creating business value.
