I currently serve as the President of Corporate Affairs & Procurement at Shree Cement, where I have been since 1995. Starting as Deputy Manager in the Accounts Department, I have progressively taken on leadership roles across various functions, including Commercial, Personal Administration, Human Resources, and IT. Since 2003, I have been responsible for land procurement across India. Between 2013 and 2022, I was a member of the core administrative committee, playing an integral role in key decisions and policy-making during a period of significant growth, where the company expanded its production capacity from 13 million tonnes to 44 million tonnes. I have been actively involved in all new greenfield and brownfield projects over the last two decades, ensuring timely commissioning. I was also part of the team that set two world records for the fastest plant setup. Additionally, I played a key role in the acquisition of our first international plant, UCC in the UAE, in 2018. I have also managed large-scale corporate events, including the company’s annual gathering for nearly 10,000 attendees, including VVIP guests from pan India.
