I imagine, design, build and run large-scale networks, data centers, cloud and AI platforms, taking ideas from research into production and operations.At Walmart, I am Vice President, Infrastructure as a Service. I lead networking, critical facilities and enterprise and cloud engineering.At Uber, I was SVP and Chief Architect Officer, leading Platform Engineering across infrastructure, AI/ML, developer productivity, search, security and privacy, autonomous-vehicle data collection and corporate IT systems.At Microsoft, I was Corporate Vice President and Technical Fellow for Azure Networking. I grew the organization from 10 engineers to more than 1,000, building the physical fabric, SmartNICs, virtual networks and global network services.At Bell Labs and AT&T Labs Research, I led research teams in network measurement, traffic engineering and network management, building software and systems used to engineer and operate AT&T's networks.
