I build and lead diverse global teams to unlock the power of technology and support the ambition of create a healthier world. In 2025, I joined Gilead to provide enterprise AI leadership with an executive mandate and to lead IT and digital capabilities. My focus is on supporting Gilead’s purpose of creating a healthier world—accelerating the discovery, development, and access. Before Gilead, I spent more than 20 years at AstraZeneca in senior technology leadership roles across the United States and Europe. My experience spans R&D, Commercial, Operations, Finance, and enabling functions. As Vice President of Global R&D IT, I led teams across three continents, partnering closely with the business to bring data and AI to life across the pipeline. Earlier in my career, I studied and worked across Europe, including Germany, Spain, Switzerland, and France. During this time, I started an IT consultancy in Hamburg, which shaped my passion for applying technology to diverse organizations and complex challenges. I serve on the Board of the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce in Washington, D.C., and am passionate about fostering global collaboration. I enjoy speaking on a wide range of topics—from artificial intelligence to women in STEM—and learning from others along the way.
