Executive Overview
I have 20+ years of Strategic Human Resource Experience. During my career, I have held a variety of HR Leadership, Mergers & Acquisitions, Organizational and Technological Transformation, Change Management, and Project Leadership roles at GLG, Synchrony (a spinoff of GE), General Electric (GE), Ford Motor Company, U. S. Steel, and Visteon Corporation (a spinoff of Ford Motor Co). I led several keys initiatives to enable the IPO of two Organizations, as well as the HR Diligence, Negotiations and Integration of multiple acquisitions. I am currently the EVP, CHRO at GLG; where I am responsible for all aspects of HR including organizational and leadership development, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, rewards and recognitions, HR systems and analytics and learning and development. In this role, I also serve as a senior advisor to the CEO and Executive Leadership team on all aspects of HR helping to ensure the company has the talent, processes and structure necessary to support the Company’s strategy and growth objectives. My role prior to joining GLG was as the Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Synchrony Financial (a spinoff of GE Capital); where I was responsible for establishing the strategic organizational and talent priorities for an ~$56B Business Platform; along several functional organizations, such as Credit Risk. I was also responsible for all HR Merger & Acquisition activities for the Company. Prior to rejoining GE/Synchrony Financial, I was the SVP, General Manager of Global Corporate Human Resources, Talent Acquisition and Compliance for U. S. Steel; where I led a process, technology and capability transformation in Talent Management, Recruiting, HR IT Ops and Compliance. Prior to this I was a Human Resources Leader at GE for N. American Operations and a ~$2B P&L. At Visteon and Ford Motor Company, I led the HR Diligence and negotiations activities for multiple acquisitions and divestitures; as well as several change management initiatives related to separation and ERP implementation activities. I hold a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Psychology from Western Michigan University and a Master of Arts degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from the University of Detroit-Mercy.
