Graeme Carter

Graeme Carter is the Chief Supply Chain Officer at Coty, with more than 30 years of operational expertise, driving transformative results in culture, sustainability, and performance within the consumer goods industry. Since joining Coty in 2022, Graeme has worked to foster collaboration and creativity in an increasingly complex industry, spanning bricks & mortar retail through to direct to consumer e-commerce. Graeme is responsible for leading Coty’s end-to-end Global Supply Chain function, overseeing planning, manufacturing, warehousing/distribution, market supply and customer service, through a hands-on approach, in pursuit of exceptional results, while simultaneously advancing Coty’s sustainability goals. He is committed to instilling a transformational change mindset and empowering the Supply Chain team to be an active business partner that thinks creatively about generating value for the company. This approach has proven to be highly impactful as the company successfully navigated the volatile industry landscape post the COVID-19 pandemic. Graeme actively looks for opportunities to increase collaboration between every function and department at Coty, to deliver improved customer-centricity and value for all Coty’s stakeholders. With a commitment to making the complex simple, through simplified workstreams, standardized approaches, and centralized processes, Graeme is creating positive change at scale to maximize Coty’s supply chain efficiency. He calls this “Simplexity”, creating scale and efficiency, whilst remaining close to market, customer and consumer needs. Prior to joining Coty, Graeme led transformative initiatives at some of the world’s leading consumer goods businesses, including P&G, Unilever, Amazon and Avon. As Chief Operations Officer at Avon, Graeme successfully overhauled the company’s Supply Chain to become more consumer-centric and sustainable, whilst implementing more resilient systems and capabilities alongside highly effective talent development programs. Graeme step-changed Avon’s service, cash, cost and sustainability results. Before Avon, Graeme managed DtC cutting-edge logistics operations at Amazon; and prior to that, he spent 25 years at P&G across all areas of Supply Chain, including manufacturing, value creation and TPM management. Graeme holds a post-graduate qualification in Economics from University of Oxford and a BSc in Chemical Engineering from University of Birmingham.
