For over 20 years I have worked within various facets of the technology industry. No matter what role I have taken in my career, whether as an Engineer, a Product Manager, or an Information Security leader, I have found that I always arrive at the intersection of technology and people. I am fixated on innovation and the way that it can help move our planet to a better future. I am fiercely proud of the work that my teams perform and the results that they deliver. I enjoy a quality work / life balance and believe that to truly be of value to your organization’s cause, you must value and put energy into that balance. My focus is always on being true to myself, what is best for my organization, and maintaining a healthy perspective on “the grand scheme of things”. Now for a bit more background… I have had numerous network and security certifications over the years. I currently hold CISSP, CISM, and CRISC certifications. For the past ten years, I have led the Information Security program at a few multi-billion dollar global organizations. This may say more about me than is prudent in social media, but... I really enjoy leading Information Security programs. I love that it is so dynamic, with so many flaming chainsaws to juggle every day. I LIKE securing organizations in global environments that have HR, Marketing, Product, Legal, Compliance, Logistics, Finance problems that must be solved now or the world is going to END. Honestly, it is a blast. I have found that what makes my work really special is discovering others who enjoy walking into a room of chaos and finding the calm.
