With over two years as Chief Market Information Security Officer and Data Protection Officer at the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI- Group), I lead efforts to enhance cybersecurity and data protection across India’s extensive digital payments ecosystem. Leveraging explicit expertise in regulatory compliance, AI Governance, information security, and project management, I spearheaded the development of the UPI Security Framework-2025, ensuring robust security measures for over 2,400 banks, fintechs, and Third-Party Application Providers (TPAPs). My work centers on safeguarding national-critical infrastructure, driving ecosystem-wide risk governance, and engineering systemic resilience. Collaborating with stakeholders, regulators, and governmental agencies, I am committed to upholding trust, compliance, and operational security. I actively contribute to shaping cyber resilience policies for India’s securities markets as a member of SEBI’s High Powered Steering Committee.
