Elevated security maturity across India’s entire digital payments ecosystem (2,400+ banks, fintechs, and TPAPs) from reactive Level 0-1 to proactive Level 2-3 (NIST/CMMI) – probably, one of the largest and fastest uplifts globally for a national-critical payments infrastructure -To support the rapid growth of UPI while maintaining the highest standards of security, I am proud to have led the development and release of a comprehensive UPI Security Framework-2025. This customized framework provides tailored guidelines and compliance requirements for all key entities in the ecosystem, including Banks, Third-Party Application Providers (TPAPs), and Application/Service Providers (ASP/TSP). This initiative aims to foster a resilient, secure, and scalable UPI infrastructure, ensuring continued trust and innovation in real-time payments. -In a concerted effort to curb online cyber crimes and frauds, I am proud to have led the release of the Mobile App Security Framework - 2025. This comprehensive framework is specifically designed for all FinTech entities offering digital payment services via mobile applications, providing robust guidelines on secure development, deployment, and ongoing protection measures. By establishing standardized security protocols, it aims to significantly reduce vulnerabilities, enhance user trust, and support the safe expansion of digital financial services across the ecosystem.
