Turkcell is a converged telecommunications and technology services provider, founded and based in Turkey. It delivers voice, data, TV, and value-added services to both consumers and enterprises across mobile and fixed networks. Since July 11, 2000, Turkcell’s shares have been listed on both the Borsa Istanbul (BIST) and the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), making it the sole Turkish firm on the latter. Additionally, Turkcell is included in the Borsa Istanbul Sustainability Index. Turkcell aims to emerge as an integrated communication and technology services provider in the region, running a unified mobile and fixed network platform and delivering a broad array of innovative products and services. The company emphasizes the importance of offering its consumer and corporate clients the complete spectrum of mobile, fixed, and broadband services to fulfill their needs. Turkcell also holds international investments. KKTCell, a fully owned subsidiary established in 1999, operates under a revenue-sharing agreement with the Telecommunications Authority of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. In Ukraine, lifecell, another fully owned entity, has been operational since February 2005. Furthermore, Turkcell acquired an 80% stake in BeST from the State Committee on Property of the Republic of Belarus in 2008. Since 2011, Turkcell has maintained a presence in Germany under the Turkcell Europe brand, operating through a marketing partnership with a Deutsche Telekom subsidiary. With its extensive coverage and diverse international services, Turkcell thus enables its subscribers to access mobile communication services both in Turkey and globally.

Turkcell, Türkiye's leading communications and technology company, is led by Chief Executive Officer Ali Taha Koç. The company's organizational structure encompasses key business functions including Operations, Human Resources, Finance, Compliance, Legal, Information Technology, Marketing, and Sales. Under the Operations function, Erkan Durdu serves as Chief People and Business Support Officer, also heading the Human Resources function. Kamil Kalyon holds the position of Group Chief Financial Officer within the Finance function. Ali Uysal serves as Chief Legal and Regulatory Officer, overseeing both the Compliance and Legal functions. Within the Information Technology function, the organization includes specialized sub-functions: Digital Transformation and Innovation, led by Murat Akguc as Chief Marketing Officer for Digital Services (who also heads the Marketing function); and Enterprise Architecture, led by Vehbi Çağrı Güngör as Chief Technology Officer.
