Selected outcomes: -Drove a ~70% reduction in annual IT operating cost during business model evolution, through consolidation, vendor renegotiation, and intelligent rightsizing. - Led IT and Information Security through multiple rounds of business restructuring and organisational right-sizing at a USD 1.8B e-commerce platform - recalibrating platform footprint, security controls, and cost structure at each step while keeping services running. - Represented IT in investment due-diligence cycles and group M&A reviews; partner to CFO and Legal on regulatory and governance posture. - Improved IT governance and cost discipline by automating periodic access reviews, employee-lifecycle access hygiene (onboarding through offboarding), software licence mapping, and ongoing closure of licence-cost gaps. - Owned Udaan's UPI payments product end-to-end, from concept through development to live merchant rollout - a new product built under the CIO mandate. - Embraced the AI shift to build production tools in-house - a recruitment platform, a contract management system, and a complete SIEM/SOAR stack on open-source foundations augmented with AI-driven L1 triage - eliminating commercial SIEM/SOAR licence spend entirely while expanding capability.
