- Work closely with Regional Management to ensure that an agreed reporting strategy is implemented with variables such as sales and project performance. - Develop and monitor financial plans, including annual budget and monthly rolling forecast. - Ensure financial statements, including contract schedule and internal reporting are prepared in an accurate and timely manner. - Monitor and manage financial risk, and insurance including overseeing insurance audits. - Manage working capital requirement and other financial metrics and identify areas for improvement. - Identify and control expenses across different departments to optimize profitability. - Assist in investment strategies for the company. - Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS). - Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to navigate regulatory changes and ensure ongoing compliance. - Implement and maintain robust internal controls to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data. - Establish and develop processes & procedures for re-budgeting individual projects and other tasks. - Supervise payroll department. - Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation and continuous improvement. - Establish and manage corporate relations with third-party providers, including banking, legal, insurance, surety, auditors and property management companies. - Participate actively as a member of the regional leadership team. Main achievements: In 2023, Implementing and managing an ERP system upgrade which replaced a limited in-house legacy system, adding significant functionality to improve team efficiency and productivity. - From July 2022, in charge of the integration of a high-profile acquisition in Florida operating due-diligence post-acquisition, and integration the new company to the group processes and requirements. - Implementing Power BI solution to help management to take action proactively.
