I advanced to this role to define technical vision and strategy, while partnering with C-suite colleagues to structure plans, evaluate risks, and deliver on goals. As part of this role, I identify consumer needs and market demands to build product roadmaps with designers and developers. I also manage network planning, design, and implementation across the Kingdom, provide guidance to the Marketing team on creating customer-centric strategies, and oversee Network, IT, Operations, Innovation & Strategy, and Governance divisions.
**HIGHLIGHTS**
➺ Played a pivotal role in increasing network capacity and optimizing telecom reliability across the Kingdom. Rolled out more than 7,000 5G sites in 31 cities in less than two years and bundled new network capability and features.
➺ Contributed to improving Mobily’s Environmental, Social, & Governance (ESG) rating from B to A in four years by participating in Ericsson’s Product Take-Back program and employing environmentally responsible actions to reduce emissions.
➺ Instilled a customer-centric focus throughout the company, including providing leadership in analyzing the end-to-end customer journey, gathering and evaluating pertinent data, and identifying areas for improvement.
➺ Strengthened operational performance, mitigated major outages, and maintained 99.8% network availability by establishing disaster recovery and setting appropriate KPIs to ensure performance excellence. Oversaw and ensured coordination among multivendor managed service environment.
➺ Improved team engagement, enhanced communication, and strengthened cohesion via continuous coaching for all staff, such as frequent coaching sessions, business case discussions, book readings and associated gatherings, and open conversations to create a shared pool of meaning.
